Nourish Your Mind
(Restore in the Gratitude Meditation by Melinda above)
Meditations center the body, mind and soul.
Keeping our minds open and flowing gives direction for the body to follow.
Meeting ourselves-emotionally-right where we are; is honoring our complete and current state of being. Connecting to our inner self is affirming, it then gives our needle movement to our internal compass. We cannot chart a path forward without recognizing who we are by way of mapping out what we are feeling. When we dismiss, ignore, judge or disregard our emotional selves, we then become stuck. We never can regain fluidity or dynamisms without recognizing what we are feeling and why. Only in rendering the identity of our feelings and the pattern/history that these represent can we be grounded sufficiently to nourish the core of our sovereignty.
This Gratitude Meditation is especially supportive for those new to mediation as it requires no history or prior practice of meditation. Our internal selves become our home sanctuaries; everything pivots from this place of knowing - keeping attuned to the generous spaces of one’s natural beating heart - through words of gratitude and appreciation. When we are aware of the power of our own energy, we can then begin to process, engage, cope and heal especially in these unique times. Life has simplified our movement providing deeper presence to ourselves and our world.
Meditations are inspired by Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss.
